SCREEN NAMES is a group exhibition in partnership with The Jaunt featuring silkscreen prints from The Jaunt archives. The show includes fourteen artists from around the world, bringing a diverse set of aesthetics and viewpoints into LOOK WEST for our inaugural exhibition.

When it comes to concepts and opportunities that impact an artist’s creative process, The Jaunt may be the most effective in its simplicity: “send an artist on a trip to find inspiration.” The Jaunt gives artists an opportunity to travel the world and find creative stimuli, generating lasting impressions that permeates their creative process. “The Jaunt’s mission is to catalyze progress and feed fresh insight into the artistic practice of our artists. The first step in this process is taking the artist out of their comfort zone and allowing them experience completely new surroundings.” After the artist returns home from their trip, all of the impressions are channeled into an artwork that is reproduced as a limited edition, handmade silkscreen print. It’s a unique travel document in the form of a physical artwork.
